Meet Our Pharmacist
Irene Tan, MPharm
Our Lead Compounding Pharmacist brings a rare and valuable blend of clinical expertise and industrial manufacturing precision to our pharmacy. A proud master graduate of the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow (UK) , she has been a fully registered pharmacist with the Malaysian Pharmacy Board since 2012, building a diverse career across hospital pharmacy, community clinics, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Her true passion lies in pharmaceutical manufacturing, where she has accumulated over 10 years of experience and is highly well-versed in manufacturing processes, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory guidelines. She has held senior roles developing medicinal products, supplements, over-the-counter medications, and cosmetics. Most notably, she served as a Production Team Leader at Glaxo Smith Kline (GSK) in Kuala Lumpur, where she led the production team and ensured the highest standards of manufacturing excellence. As one of the few female leaders with a pharmacist background in the Malaysian manufacturing sector, she is a pioneer in her field.
Seeking to refine her clinical impact, she pursued advanced specialty training in Australia, deepening her expertise in the art and science of compounding. This unique combination of industrial-scale knowledge and clinical precision allows her to craft personalised preparations with exceptional accuracy and quality. Her areas of specialty include dermatology, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, and pain management, among others—always tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.
At Twenty Script, we are committed to delivering personalised compounding solutions with uncompromising standards. Everything we do is guided by two core principles: Quality Assurance and Customer Service Excellence.
Our Commitment to
Quality Assurance
Quality is the foundation of our compounding practice. From our people to our processes and facilities, every step is carefully controlled to ensure safety, consistency, and reliability
Qualified and Trained Professionals
Our compounding services are led by a qualified Responsible Person specialized in Compounding, supported by trained pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. All preparations are carried out in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that align with internationally recognised United States Pharmacopeia (USP) standards and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines.
Carefully Sourced Ingredients
We believe that quality products begin with quality ingredients. All raw materials are sourced from trusted and reputable suppliers who are able to provide complete quality documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COA) and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Our team conducts supplier audits to verify compliance with our quality requirements before ingredients are approved for use.
Approved and Audited Facility
Our facility is approved and audited annually by local authorities under the Ministry of Health. We maintain strict environmental and safety controls, including fire safety compliance and routine pest control programs, to ensure a clean, safe, and well-regulated working environment. These measures support the integrity of our compounding processes and the safety of the products we dispense.
Customer Service Excellence
We understand that compounding is highly individualised, and behind every prescription is a patient, caregiver, or healthcare professional who relies on us. Our team is dedicated to providing clear communication, responsive support, and professional guidance at every stage—from enquiry and formulation to dispensing and follow-up.
By combining technical expertise with a service-driven approach, we aim to build long-term trust with our customers and healthcare partners, ensuring each experience with us is reliable, transparent, and reassuring.
